The Academies' Successful Work-to-Work Tough Transitions course focuses on the enduring approaches for tough career transitions and current techniques for making career transitions in today’s tough environment. Delivered by Elisabeth Sanders-Park, author of ‘No One Is Unemployable’ and ‘The 6 Reasons You’ll Get the Job’, with her hallmark blend of hope and practicality, this course will give you fresh inspiration and ideas for clients who want to or must make a career move now. Five steps that job seekers/career changers at all levels can take to make a smooth work-to-work transition.
How the International Coach Federation (ICF) coaching competencies are used to fortify your coaching partnership and interaction with clients making tough work-to-work transitions.
Targeted techniques for clients making work-to-work transitions from:
- Unrelated Work, including changing what you do (skills, title), where you do it (industry, sector), or both, with strategies for apparent over-qualification.
- Contracting Industries, including loss of work due to downsizing, off-shoring, company closure, and industries in decline.
- Business Ownership, including business closure, sale of a business, seeking supplementary income while running a business, and strategies for those who have done ‘consulting’ or project work.

Class “meets” from the comfort of home/office via Webinar & Teleseminar for 6 weeks. The group training will meet 6 weeks via webinar and phone, 120 mins, ONCE a week on the appointed day of week. Total class hours are 12 hours. All sessions will be recorded and accessible for you after the call. This class is application-based … meaning you’ll learn skills and follow along with a webinar – a “watch, learn, practice, and apply” methodology … so that the skills can be directly taught to (& used with) job seekers. The 6-week program allows you the time and framework to assimilate, practice and execute the new strategies learned.
