"How to Manage and Motivate Difficult Clients"

April 3, 2013 (first Wednesday of the month)
1 – 2 p.m. EST

No charge to attend; but you must be a Professional Member of the Career Professionals of Canada. *

Not all clients are easy to work with; some are downright resistant to change. When you face challenging clients, what do you do to help them?

Consider these questions for the call:
  • What are some of the challenges you face with clients that are difficult to motivate?
  • How do you encourage your clients to deal with stressful situations?
  • How do you address disabilities and other challenges clients encounter?
  • How do you handle needy, co-dependent, or abusive clients?
  • Where do you draw the line with what you are willing to do to help a client?

* A benefit of membership in the Career Professionals of Canada, the Professional Member Tele-Networking session is open to Professional Members of the association only. Tele-networking is a conference call between Professionals Members of Career Professionals of Canada. Each session is delivered in a teleconference format using a bridge telephone line. If you have a phone, you have everything that you need to join the class.

Session topics are selected and outlined in advance with a series of 5 related questions to get participants “brainstorming.” If you are a Professional Member of the Career Professionals of Canada, you are invited to join your colleagues to openly discuss the given topic in a round-table format – asking questions and sharing ideas. Session registration for PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS is free. Depending on your location, long distance charges may apply. Participants are encouraged to register early to reserve their spot.
